Mary Anne Hobbs is to join BBC Radio 6 Music as the host of its new show Weekend Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings from January 5, 2013.
Hobbs previously spent 14 years as part of Radio 1 before moving to Xfm, where she was nominated for Best Specialist Show at the Sony and Arqiva Awards 2012.
